Emily Salsbury

In the Summer of 2020, I worked with Aldo Leopold Nature Center to design vector images for use on room signs around the nature center. ALNC also requested they look similar to Aldo Leopold's sketches in his Sandhill County Almanac, so they required a hand drawn style. Each icon also required a level of scientific accuracy given the educational mission of the nature center, so I went back and forth with the staff at ALNC to ensure accuracy of details of each plant and animal. The vector images were sent to Gray Skunk Inc. to be made into custom laser cut signs.
